Rihanna is making a big return to performing when she joins Jay-Z and Kanye West on the premiere of The Jay Leno Show on September 14.
The superstar trio will perform Jay’s new single “Run This Town” from his new album The Blueprint 3, which will hit stores only three days earlier.
Although Rihanna is performing as a part of a group, the appearance is still a big deal; the 21-year-old pop star hasn’t performed on television since January 29 when she rocked the Pepsi Smash Super Bowl Bash in Tampa, Florida. She was set to perform on the 51st annual Grammy Awards in February, but her now infamous blow up with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown the night before caused her to have to nix the performance.
The performance is likely to be the first of many for the singer — she will release her highly anticipated fourth album by the end of the year.
